Anambra First Lady Advocates Against Drug Abuse Initiatives

The Anambra First Lady is calling for a united effort to combat drug abuse in Anambra State, emphasizing the importance of coordinated strategies for prevention, treatment, and enforcement of social support. She highlighted the need to equip young people with the right values, education, life skills, and economic opportunities to resist peer pressure and harmful influences.

Dr. Soludo urged parents and guardians to maintain open communication with their children, closely monitor their activities, and provide emotional support.

She also called on schools, religious institutions, and community leaders to intensify public awareness campaigns about the dangers of substance abuse and advocate for the inclusion of drug prevention education and mentorship programs in school curricula.
