Anambra Destroys N50m Illicit Drugs, Arrests Suspects

The Anambra State Special Anti-Tout Squad conducted a raid in various locations in Awka, resulting in the destruction of illicit drugs worth N50 million. The operation, which took place on a Saturday, was managed by Mondai Nwokoy, who emphasized the agency's zero-tolerance stance against drug abuse and tout activities in the state.

The raid followed credible intelligence gathered by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, which underscored the agency's commitment to dismantling illicit drug networks and curbing crime across Anambra State. Nwokoy issued a stern warning to individuals involved in the sale and consumption of illicit substances, stating that they risk facing strict legal consequences.
