Anambra State Opens Applications for Permanent Secretary Roles

The Anambra State Government, led by Governor Professor Chukwuma Soludo, has announced the opening of applications for the positions of permanent secretary within the state civil service. This announcement was made public by Ngozi Iwouno, the head of service, on Thursday.

The application process is set to begin on March 27, 2026, with interested candidates required to submit their expressions of interest by April 8, 2026. The criteria for eligibility include being a civil servant within the Anambra State public service, holding a rank of director or not below the rank of deputy director, and having a minimum of two years of service.

Additionally, candidates from outside the Anambra State civil service who meet the specified qualifications are also invited to apply. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to the next stage of the selection process.
