Anambra State Partners with PEBEC to Enhance Business Climate

Anambra State has formed a partnership with the Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council (PEBEC) to improve the ease of doing business within the state. Chiamaka Nnake, the Secretary to the State Government, announced this initiative during a nationwide town hall meeting held at the International Convention Centre in Awka on Wednesday.

The partnership aims to drive reforms that will simplify business operations in Anambra and the Southeast region, aligning with Governor Chukwuma Soludo's Vision 2070 agenda to make Anambra a digital destination hub. The initiative seeks to create an enabling environment that attracts investment and drives sustainable economic growth.

Princess Zahrah Audu, the Director General of PEBEC, emphasized the importance of engaging stakeholders to identify challenges and develop solutions for easier business operations across Nigeria. The program is expected to enhance the business climate, reduce bottlenecks, and improve investor confidence in Anambra State, positioning it as a key investment destination by 2070.
