Anambra Police Command Enhances Security with NFSS Visit

The Anambra State Police Command, led by spokesperson Tochukwu Ikenga, received a delegation from the Nigeria Forest Security Service (NFSS) at its headquarters in Awka. This courtesy visit is part of the command's ongoing efforts to strengthen its inclusive operation strategy and foster collaboration with critical security stakeholders to enhance safety and security across Anambra State.

Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of operations, Ibrahim Ezekiel, welcomed the NFSS delegation and reaffirmed the command's commitment to proactive policing through strategic partnerships. He urged the Nigeria Forest Security Service to continue supporting law enforcement operations by providing timely and credible information to aid in crime prevention and detection.

Mazi Destini Jona, the leader of the NFSS delegation, expressed appreciation for the warm reception and commended the command's proactive approach to security. The visit concluded with a renewed commitment from both parties to deepen cooperation and strengthen operational coordination in line with the vision of the Inspector General of Police for a safer and more secure Nigeria.
