Anambra State Enhances Community HIV Prevention Efforts

The Anambra State AIDS Control Agency (ANSACA) is collaborating with the National Orientation Agency (NOA) to enhance HIV prevention education, testing awareness, and community mobilization throughout Anambra State, Nigeria. This partnership aims to strengthen community-level efforts in Nigeria's HIV response.

The collaboration is designed to improve access to accurate information regarding HIV, encourage prevention and early testing, promote treatment uptake and adherence, and address stigma and discrimination faced by individuals living with HIV. This initiative underscores the significance of connecting public health agencies with community-based communication structures to ensure that vital HIV prevention and treatment information reaches individuals beyond formal healthcare settings.
