Anglican Church Suspends Pastor for Fake Miracles

The Anglican Church has suspended Reverend Ifunaya Maduka, the vicar of St. Paul's Parish in Nteje, Oyi Local Government Area, Anambra State, for a period of six months without pay.

This action, effective immediately, was taken after credible reports indicated that Maduka engaged in arranging and manipulating prophecies and miracles for financial gain. The suspension letter, signed by Rt.

Rev. Owen Nwokolo, the bishop of the Niger Diocese, expressed grave concern over Maduka's conduct, which was deemed grossly unbecoming of an ordained priest.

Upon confrontation with evidence, Maduka admitted to his involvement in these unholy practices. The letter emphasized that the church does not condone such behavior, which misleads the public and brings dishonor to the name of Jesus Christ.

Furthermore, a disciplinary panel will be constituted within a month to investigate the matter further and determine any additional actions that may be necessary.
