Tunji-Ojo Donates Cash to Ondo Flood Victims

Mr. Omoyele Olabode, a leader of the All Progressives Congress in Ondo State, commended Minister for Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, for his financial assistance to flood victims in the South Senatorial District. Following a recent flood that displaced many residents across six Local Government Areas, Tunji-Ojo donated cash to over 1,000 victims through his Flood Relief Palliative Sponsored initiative.

Kolade Akinjo, a former member of the House of Representatives, coordinated the cash disbursement, which aimed to alleviate the economic hardships faced by the victims. Olabode stated that the cash transfers provided essential support to affected households and reflected the commitment of President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

He urged other political leaders and citizens to support flood victims as the government works on long-term flood control projects. Olabode also noted the importance of the National Emergency Management Agency's promised assistance, emphasizing that Tunji-Ojo's support was timely and commendable.
