APC Chieftain Aminu Danmaliki Defects to PRP in Bauchi

Hon. Aminu Mohammed Danmaliki, a chieftain and founding member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), announced his defection to the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) on Saturday at Majidadi B Ward in Bauchi.

He criticized the APC for the economic hardships faced by Nigerians, attributing these issues to a lack of focus and good governance. Danmaliki expressed optimism that Nigeria could overcome poverty through honest leadership and policies prioritizing citizens' welfare.

He stated that the government should protect and uplift the people rather than make life harder. His decision to leave the APC was based on careful reflection and was driven by principles rather than political convenience.

He described the PRP as a platform committed to social justice and people-centered governance. Danmaliki lamented the struggles of many Nigerians, including rising hardship, unemployment, and challenges faced by small businesses.

He emphasized that his departure from the APC was without bitterness, focusing on the need for leadership that responds to the people's needs.
