APC Enugu Denies Crisis and Mass Resignations Claims

The Enugu State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially denied allegations of an internal crisis and mass resignations among its members. In a statement issued on Sunday by the state Public Secretary, Uch Obut, the party described the claims as a false narrative orchestrated by mischief-makers.

The APC emphasized that there are no grievances regarding the welfare of delegates who attended a recent national convention. The party aims to secure the highest number of votes in the 2027 general elections and has addressed concerns regarding alleged exits from the party, asserting that it is strengthening its presence in the state.

The statement highlighted the party's transformation into a stronghold in Enugu, with full alignment from local government area chairmen and councillors. It reiterated the inclusivity of both old and new members within the party's leadership structure, urging the public to disregard misleading reports and expressing confidence in its progress.
