Gov Namadi likens APC to Noah's Ark amid defection

Kabiru Ibrahim, the Minority Leader of the Jigawa State House of Assembly and the sole member from the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), defected to the APC. Governor Namadi emphasized that anyone interested in politics in Jigawa should join the APC, asserting that not doing so would be a waste of time.

He expressed gratitude for the support the APC has received, claiming that Ibrahim's defection signifies the end of opposition in the state assembly. Hon.

Ibrahim cited the APC's favorable manifesto and Namadi's leadership as reasons for his switch, noting that he consulted his followers before making the decision. The state APC chairman, Ahmad Garba, assured Ibrahim and other defectors of equal opportunities within the party.
