Kano Governor Orders Appointees to Join APC for 2027

On Saturday, Kano State Governor Abba Yusuf ordered all political appointees within his administration to immediately register as members of the All Progressives Congress (APC). This directive aims to bolster the party's structure in preparation for the 2027 general elections.

During an interactive session held at the Coronation Hall of the Government House in Kano, Yusuf emphasized the need for every government official to identify with the party and contribute to its strength across the state. He reaffirmed the administration's commitment to ensuring the APC's victory in the upcoming elections, particularly in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's re-election campaign.

Yusuf also approved the allocation of land plots to 300 political aides, including senior special assistants, and announced a payment of N100,000 to beneficiaries. Ismail Falgor, the Speaker of the Kano State House of Assembly, reiterated the importance of showcasing Tinubu's achievements to the people of Kano.
