APC Reopens Membership Registration Ahead of 2027 Elections

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced the reopening of its Membership Electronic-Registration Exercise across Nigeria, set to commence on Monday, August 31, 2026. This announcement was made in a statement by Felix Morka, the APC National Publicity Secretary.

The party is encouraging all stakeholders, supporters, and both existing and prospective members to participate in this registration exercise, which will be conducted at all wards nationwide. Existing members are expected to validate their membership, while new and intending members are urged to register and join the party.

To register, individuals must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid National Identification Number (NIN). The electronic-registration initiative aims to digitize the APC's membership register, ensuring the integrity of membership records, enhancing access to membership data for planning and management, promoting internal democracy, and reinforcing the party's commitment to democratic innovation in Nigeria.
