APC Campaign Council List to be Adjusted, Not Reviewed

The Presidency has clarified that the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council list for the 2027 election will be adjusted rather than subjected to a total review. Sunday Dare, the Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Media and Public Communication, made this statement during an appearance on Channels Television’s Sunrise Daily.

He addressed claims that the list had been withdrawn due to backlash over individuals of questionable character included in it. Dare emphasized that the list remains valid and that the party has not yet formed all the necessary subcommittees for the campaign structure.

He noted that while the list is not cast in stone, it will see adjustments rather than a wholesale review. When questioned about the term "review," Dare clarified that the expected changes are merely adjustments where necessary, indicating that the creation of additional subcommittees would allow for more participation from party members and political stakeholders.
