APC Endorses Jemili Akingbad for Fourth Term in Ogun

Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Imeko Afon have officially endorsed Jemili Akingbad for a fourth term in the Ogun State House of Assembly. This decision was announced on Friday at the APC secretariat in Imeko Afon, where local party leaders, including Olalotan Olusegun Aliu, expressed their unanimous support for Akingbad.

Aliu, a former chairman of the APC in the local government, stated that he would step down from the race to prioritize party interests over personal ambitions. The stakeholders emphasized the importance of unity within the party and affirmed their belief in Akingbad's loyalty and grassroots mobilization capabilities.

A communiqué from the APC Ketu Zone confirmed the consensus reached among local leaders to support Akingbad's candidacy for the 2027 elections. The gathering also pledged support for Governor Dapo Abiodun and the governorship ambitions of Solomon Olamilekan Adeola for a second term.
