APC Inaugurates New Secretariat in Bayelsa for Unity

On Thursday, Governor Douye Diri of Bayelsa State inaugurated an ultramodern secretariat for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Yenagoa. This event marked a significant moment as it brought together party stakeholders for the first time in years.

Chief Press Secretary Daniel Alabrah noted the importance of this unity secretariat. State APC Chairman Warman Ogoriba thanked Governor Diri on behalf of the stakeholders, describing the new complex as the best party secretariat in the country, which would enhance party unity and motivate members for the 2027 general elections.

Minister of State for Petroleum Resources Heineken Lokpobiri commended Governor Diri's leadership qualities, assuring party candidates of victory, particularly in the Bayelsa West senatorial district. Other stakeholders, including Dr.

Samuel Ogbuku, expressed happiness over the new APC unity in the state, emphasizing the need for loyalty and collaboration among members to strengthen the party. Governor Diri reiterated the importance of unity and loyalty within the party, stating that without member support, leadership would falter.
