APC Appeals to Senator Hanga Amid Kwankwaso Controversy

On Tuesday, APC chieftain Salisu Maje Gwangwazo visited Senator Hanga at his residence following Hanga's return from a medical trip. During the visit, Gwangwazo accused former governor Kwankwaso of humiliating Hanga, stating that he deserves better treatment given his long-standing loyalty and sacrifices.

Gwangwazo highlighted that Kwankwaso's refusal to offer Hanga an electoral position in the New Nigeria Development Coalition (NDC) demonstrated a lack of appreciation for Hanga's support. He urged Hanga to join the APC and assured him that the party would value his contributions.

Gwangwazo also mentioned that Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf had already settled issues concerning members of the state assembly. Despite the appeal from APC, Hanga has not publicly responded, although he reaffirmed his loyalty to Kwankwaso and held a private meeting with Governor Yusuf to discuss political matters.
