APGA Sets April 30, 2026, Deadline for Member Registration

The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has announced a deadline of April 30, 2026, for the registration and revalidation of its members across the country in preparation for the 2027 general elections. Dr.

Ejimofor Opara, the party's national secretary, emphasized that this deadline is in accordance with Section 77 (5) of the Electoral Act 2026, which mandates political parties to submit a complete digital membership list to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). Members whose details are captured in the party's digital register will be eligible to participate in the party's primary elections, including seeking contest tickets.

Opara warned that any member who fails to complete the registration and revalidation by the deadline will not be allowed to participate in the primary elections. He advised interested members and aspirants to complete their registration on the party's official online platform before the deadline, stating that no extensions will be granted beyond April 30.
