APGA Commits to Free and Fair Primaries in Nigeria

The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has reiterated its unwavering commitment to conducting free, fair, and transparent primary elections. In a press statement issued on Wednesday from the party's national secretariat, Ejimofor Opara, a representative of APGA, emphasized that the determination of the party's flag bearer will solely rest with the people.

Opara cautioned aspirants against engaging with individuals posing as emissaries of the national chairman or the party's work committee, labeling such individuals as fraudsters who do not represent the party's interests. He reminded aspirants that the party's leadership is fully committed to enforcing the code of conduct guiding the ongoing nomination process.

The statement also warned that financial inducements would be treated as serious offenses, attracting severe sanctions as per the party's constitution. APGA reaffirmed its dedication to ensuring that the electoral process remains a true reflection of the people's choice.
