APKMN Urges Action Against Insecurity After Easter Attacks

The Apostolic Knights of St. Michael the Archangel Nigeria (APKMN), represented by Steve Adehi, issued a statement on Wednesday condemning violent attacks on Christians during Palm Sunday in Angwan Rukuba, Plateau State, and on Easter Sunday at two churches in the Kachia Local Government Area of Kaduna State, including St.

Ignatius Catholic Church in Ayar Gwer, Benue State. The organization expressed deep sadness over these tragic incidents, describing them as a reminder of the worsening insecurity in the country.

APKMN extended condolences to the families affected by the violence and called for urgent action from relevant authorities to address the situation. They urged security agencies to ensure that justice is served and emphasized the need for the Nigerian government to move beyond mere rhetoric in addressing insecurity.

The group also called for divine intervention for peace in the country and solidarity among communities affected by such senseless attacks.
