APM's Ajadi Urges Oyo Youths to Engage Politically

On Friday, Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo, the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) senatorial candidate for Oyo Central, called on the youth of Oyo to actively engage in politics and take responsibility for the country's leadership as the 2027 general elections approach. This appeal was made during a Youth Stakeholders’ Engagement organized by the Agency for Youth Development, which brought together representatives from approximately 900 registered youth associations at the Ministry of Local Government Training Hall in Ibadan.

Ajadi attributed ongoing poor governance to the limited involvement of youths in politics and encouraged them to join political parties to leverage their numerical strength for governance influence. He expressed confidence in the electoral success of APM candidates, including presidential candidate Engineer Seyi Makinde and gubernatorial candidate Hon. Bimbo Adekanmbi, asserting that they would secure victories across various elections.

The event also served as a platform for discussing critical issues such as employment, skills acquisition, and youth participation in policymaking.
