Hon. Abba Tajudeen, who cited persistent internal crises within the former parties as the primary reason for the lawmakers' decisions.

Chief Uch Nnadi, the party chairman, welcomed the defecting lawmakers during a plenary session, describing their decision as a bold step toward strengthening democratic values and enhancing representation.
