Stakeholders Call for Electoral Reforms on Atoy Ariyo-Dare's 3rd Anniversary

Stakeholders marked the 3rd anniversary of Atoy Ariyo-Dare's passing by calling on the new INEC Chair, Prof. Joash Amupitan, to focus on electoral reforms and integrity in Nigeria.

The statement issued by Kunle Afolabi, the Acting Executive Director of an advocacy group, highlighted the importance of upholding Atoy's legacy and ensuring the full implementation of the Electoral Act 2022. The emphasis was placed on collaboration between INEC and civil society to enhance voter education, combat voter bribery, and restore confidence in Nigeria's democratic processes.
