Nigerian Army Announces Major Reshuffle of Senior Officers

The Nigerian Army has implemented a major reshuffle of senior officers, as announced in a statement by the acting Director of Army Public Relations, Colonel Appolonia Anel. This restructuring, approved by the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Waidi Shaibu, includes new appointments across operational commands and training institutions.

Major General WM Dangana has been appointed to command the 3 Division, succeeding Major General EF Oyinlola, while Major General EI Okoro takes command of the 6 Division, replacing Major General EE Emeka. Other notable appointments include Major General JR Lar at Army Headquarters Garrison, Brigadier General OM Oyekola as Acting Military Secretary, and Brigadier General W Waziri continuing as Chief Staff Officer.
