Nigerian Army Pursues Abductors of Kogi Students

The Nigerian Army, represented by Commander Godiya Mond of the 21 Battalion, is currently engaged in tracking the abductors of four individuals, including two students, who were kidnapped from an examination center in Kogi State. The incident occurred on a Tuesday evening during the National Examination Council (NECO) examinations at a school in Olowa Community, Dekina Local Government Area.

The Army has established a blockade to prevent the abductors from moving the victims further into the forest. The four abducted individuals include two students and the school principal, who is also a supervisor for the NECO examination.

The Kogi State Police Command has confirmed the incident and is collaborating with security agencies to launch a search and rescue operation. The state government, led by Governor Usman Ododo, has emphasized the importance of securing the area and protecting all individuals involved in the examination process.
