Makinde's Leadership Shines with New Surveillance Aircraft

Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo, the senatorial candidate for Oyo Central from the Allied People’s Movement, praised Oyo Governor Seyi Makinde for the arrival of two surveillance aircraft intended to bolster the state's security framework. In a statement made on Tuesday, Ajadi described the aircraft's delivery as evidence of Makinde's dedication to combating insecurity, showcasing his leadership and strategic governance approach.

The aircraft were received at the Samuel Ladoke Akintola Airport in Ibadan, where Governor Makinde stated that this investment would enhance intelligence gathering, aerial surveillance, and rapid responses to security threats across Oyo. He clarified that the decision to procure the aircraft was made prior to the recent abduction incident in Oriire Local Government Area, emphasizing that it was part of a comprehensive security strategy.

Ajadi asserted that the arrival of the aircraft vindicated Makinde and countered critics of the procurement plan, asserting that it would significantly improve intelligence operations and law enforcement capabilities.
