Oyo Government Inspects CCTV Network to Enhance Security

The Oyo State Government, under the leadership of Governor Seyi Makinde, conducted an inspection of the CCTV surveillance network across various locations in Ibadan, including Mokola, Mapo, and Ado Area. The inspection was led by the Special Adviser on Security Matters, Abayomi Fagbenro Bibir, who noted the government's commitment to improving security and preventing crime throughout the state.

The aim of the inspection was to assess the condition of the CCTV facilities, identify areas needing repair or upgrades, and ensure the surveillance system operates effectively. Bibir highlighted the strategic importance of the CCTV network in the state's emergency response system, linking it to the 615 emergency center for quicker responses from security agencies.

The administration continues to support security agencies with operational vehicles, communication equipment, and intelligence resources. The government encourages residents to remain vigilant and report any threats to public safety using the 615 emergency line.
