ASKY Welcomes Two New Boeing 737 MAX 8 Aircraft

ASKY has achieved a significant milestone by receiving two new Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft in July 2026, with the first jet, registered ET-BCJ, arriving in Lomé on July 5, and the second, ET-BCK, on July 16. These aircraft are configured with 16 Business and 144 Economy seats, emphasizing passenger comfort and fuel efficiency.

With this addition, ASKY's fleet now comprises 17 aircraft, including 8 Boeing 737 MAX 8s, positioning the airline as one of the operators with the youngest and most fuel-efficient fleets in the region. During the welcome ceremony in Lomé, ASKY’s CEO, Mr. Esayas Woldemariam HAILU, remarked that this delivery signifies the airline's resilience and long-term vision, reflecting the trust of strategic partners and the support from the Government of Togo.

The new aircraft are expected to enhance schedule reliability, open new markets, and provide a seamless travel experience, furthering ASKY's mission to unify Africa through air travel.
