Aston Martin Unveils Major Upgrade for Hungarian GP

Aston Martin is set to implement its first major performance upgrade of the season at the Hungarian Grand Prix, taking place from July 24 to 26. Team principal Adrian Newey has opted for a cost-effective approach to enhance the car's performance, which has been hindered by their new engine partner, Honda, leaving them at the back of the field this season.

The upgrade will focus on significant weight reduction and a substantial aerodynamic package, while the rear suspension will remain largely unchanged. There will be a slight revision to the rear suspension, and a new nose will be developed as part of the aerodynamic overhaul.

The core structure of the car will remain similar, but the team aims to meet the weight limit ahead of the races in Hungary, the British Grand Prix, and the Belgian Grand Prix.
