AWIEF 2026 Conference to Empower Women Leaders in Business

The AWIEF 2026 conference, marking its 12th edition, will take place over two days, gathering more than 60 African and global thought leaders in business and politics. The theme, “Beyond Access: Owning Capital, Markets and Power,” aims to enhance the growth of women-owned and led businesses in Africa.

Keynote speakers include Rania Al-Mashat, the United Nations Under-Secretary-General and Executive Secretary of the UN Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia, who previously served as an Egyptian Cabinet Minister from 2018 to 2026; Magda Wierzycka, founder and CEO of Sygnia Limited, recognized by Forbes as one of Africa’s 50 Most Powerful Women in 2020; and Dr. Judy Dlamini, Chancellor of the University of the Witwatersrand and Executive Chairperson of Mbekani Group. The event will feature panel discussions, masterclasses, an exhibition, and the Pitch n Grow competition for women founders seeking capital.
