Nollywood Actor Baba Ijesha Released from Prison, Sparks Social Media Reactions

Nollywood actor Baba Ijesha has been released from detention after being arrested in April 2021 for sexual assault on a 14-year-old foster daughter of Nigerian comedienne Princess. Yomi Fabiyi and Kola Olotu confirmed his release, with photos shared on social media.

The actor was found guilty on four out of six charges and sentenced to a 16-year term, leading to a variety of reactions online. The incident took place at the Kirikiri Maximum Correctional Center.
