Veteran Journalist Abducted by Bandits in Kaduna State

Bandits abducted veteran photojournalist Umar Usman Iyal Danhonu II at his residence in Millennium City, Chikun LGA, Kaduna State. Umar, a retired staff of Africa Independent Television (AIT) and former Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) photojournalist, was kidnapped by gunmen who gained access to the compound in a coordinated manner.

The abductors demanded ransom and whisked him away. Kaduna State Police Command has deployed a team to track the abductors and ensure Umar's safe release.
