Polaris Bank Manager Killed by Kidnappers in Imo State

On Sunday evening, Mr. Ossy, the branch manager of Polaris Bank, was shot dead by suspected kidnappers at the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, Imo State, while he was reportedly taking his children to the university. During the attack, which occurred as he was dropping off his children, two female students were also allegedly abducted by the assailants.

The children managed to escape unharmed. Polaris Bank issued a statement signed by Rasheed Bolarinwa, the Head of Brand Management & Corporate Communication, expressing deep sorrow over the tragic death of Mr. Ossy and extending condolences to his family, friends, and colleagues.

The bank confirmed that the incident is under investigation by relevant law enforcement agencies and urged the public to allow authorities to complete their inquiries.
