Abubakar Donates N17m and Rice to Flood Victims in Bauchi

On Sunday, former Bauchi State Governor Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar, representing the All Progressives Congress (APC), announced a total donation of N17 million and hundreds of bags of rice to assist flood victims in Bara, Kirfi Local Government Area. This donation came during a sympathy visit to the community affected by devastating floods.

Abubakar's contribution included N10 million specifically for flood victims and an additional N2 million targeted at women and youth in the area. Furthermore, he disclosed an additional N5 million from APC representatives, including Aki Makama, Yakubu Shehu, and Abdullahi Wakilin Birni, bringing the total cash support to N17 million.

Alongside the financial assistance, hundreds of bags of rice were provided to help affected families. Abubakar urged the community to remain steadfast and patient during this difficult period, expressing concern over the recurring floods and assuring the people of his commitment to lead a high-powered delegation to address their needs.
