APM Candidate Donates N21m to Support Disaster Victims

Dr. Yakubu Adamu, the gubernatorial candidate for the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) in Bauchi State, donated N21 million to aid victims of natural disasters, specifically targeting communities affected by recent floods and windstorms.

During a sympathy visit to the impacted areas, he called for collective responsibility among leaders, organizations, and individuals to support disaster victims. The donation included N11 million and N10 million allocated for relief packages.

Dr. Adamu expressed solidarity with residents who suffered significant losses due to the disasters, emphasizing that leadership should demonstrate genuine concern and respond to the needs of the people during such crises.

He prayed for strength for affected families and highlighted the importance of collective efforts in providing urgent relief and rebuilding affected communities. Alhaji Muhammad Abdullahi, the district head of Bara, expressed gratitude for the intervention, noting the severe impact of the disasters on local families and infrastructure.
