Bauchi Governor Reshuffles Cabinet, Names New Commissioners

Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed has approved a minor cabinet reshuffle, which includes the nomination of new commissioners to fill vacancies in the state executive council. The announcement was made by the governor's special adviser on media and public affairs, Mukhtar Gidado, in a statement released on Friday.

This reshuffle is part of an effort to strengthen governance and enhance service delivery in the state. The changes involve the appointment of Moham Sali Gamawa as the new Commissioner for Commerce, Industry, and Investment, replacing the outgoing commissioner.

Additionally, Dr. Lawal Rimin Zayam, the former Commissioner for Education, has been reassigned to the Ministry of Power and Science Technology.

The governor accepted the resignation of Faruk Mustapha, the former Commissioner for Rural Development and Special Duties. The new nominees will be forwarded to the Bauchi State House of Assembly for screening and confirmation.

Governor Mohammed expressed gratitude to the outgoing commissioners for their service and wished them success in their future endeavors.
