Bauchi State Launches World Bank Project for IDPs

On Thursday, Auwal Jatau, the Deputy Governor of Bauchi State, inaugurated a steering committee for the "Solid Project," a World Bank-assisted initiative designed to address the root causes of vulnerability among internally displaced persons (IDPs) and their host communities. The inauguration took place at the Government House in Bauchi.

Jatau emphasized the state government's unwavering commitment to ensuring that no one is left behind, particularly men, women, and children displaced from their homes. The steering committee will oversee the implementation of the project, ensuring that every naira invested aligns with the state's development goals.
