Bauchi Talakawas Back Abubakar, Criticize Tuggar Foundation

The Bauchi Talakawas, represented by Alhaji Musa Idri Shehu, criticized the Tuggar Foundation's recent media briefing, labeling it as misplaced and disconnected from the current political realities in Bauchi State. Shehu argued that the foundation's account of the emergence of APC candidate Maham Abdullahi Abubakar did not accurately reflect the transparent consultative process involving key stakeholders.

He urged the foundation to focus on humanitarian services rather than engage in partisan political debates, suggesting that their comments indicated dissatisfaction with the party's internal processes. The Talakawas reaffirmed their support for the APC and its presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, emphasizing that Abubakar represents a credible option for the party.

They called for unity among APC members ahead of the 2027 elections, highlighting Abubakar's grassroots support across various demographics in Bauchi State.
