Rangers Held to 1-1 Draw by AS Sobemap in CAF Clash

In the CAF Champions League first preliminary round, Nigerian champions Rangers faced a challenging match against Benin Republic club AS Sobemap, ending in a 1-1 draw at the Moshood Abiola Sports Complex in Abeokuta. Rangers initially took the lead in the 23rd minute through Iwundu Chidozie's goal.

However, AS Sobemap responded with determination in the second half, equalizing early in the period. Despite creating several opportunities to regain the lead, Rangers could not convert their chances, resulting in a stalemate.
