Ochetoha K’Idoma Forum Demands Justice for Fulani Leader

The Ochetoha K’Idoma Forum, led by President Professor Yakubu Aboki Ochefu, condemned the killing of Fulani community leader Mr. Yakubu Isah in Ohimini Local Government Area, Benue State.

The organization described the incident as tragic and demanded that security agencies ensure the identification, arrest, and prosecution of those responsible, in accordance with the law. They expressed sorrow over the loss of life and extended condolences to the bereaved families.

The forum highlighted that no grievances or historical disagreements justify taking innocent lives and urged against attributing the actions of criminals to entire ethnic groups. They called for restraint in media narratives to avoid inflaming ethnic tensions and criticized the federal and state governments for their inability to effectively address the worsening security situation in Benue State.

The organization reiterated its commitment to peace and coexistence, emphasizing that every human life deserves equal protection under the law.
