Ochetoha K’Idoma Condemns Killing of Fulani Leader

The Ochetoha K’Idoma Forum, a socio-cultural organization representing the Idoma nation, condemned the killing of Fulani leader Ardo Risku Moham, also known as Mr. Yakubu Isah, in Ohimini Local Government Area, Benue State.

The incident was described as a tragic act that should not go unpunished. In a statement signed by the President General, Professor Yakubu Aboki Ochefu, and the Secretary General, Chief Paul Edeh, the forum called on security agencies to ensure that those responsible for the killing are identified, arrested, and prosecuted according to the law.

The organization expressed deep sorrow over the incident and extended condolences to the bereaved families. They emphasized that no grievances justify taking innocent lives and urged against attributing the actions of criminals to entire ethnic groups.

The forum criticized the federal and state governments for their inability to address the worsening security situation in Benue State and called for a comprehensive security strategy to protect all residents, regardless of their ethnic background.
