Zulum Donates N50m to Family of Slain Military Officer

On April 10, during the funeral service for Lt Col Okolo held in Obinofia Ndiuno, Ezeagu LGA, Enugu State, Governor Zulum of Borno State announced a donation of N50 million to the family of the slain officer. This donation is part of a larger commitment, as Zulum's administration has previously donated N150 million to the families of three military officers killed in separate attacks across the state.

Special Adviser on Media, Dauda Iliya, stated that the governor's administration is dedicated to supporting the families of military personnel who have made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of the nation. Brig Gen Abdullahi Sabi Ishaq, representing the governor, extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and praised Lt Col Okolo for his gallant service.

Prof Stanlei Okolo expressed gratitude to Governor Zulum for the support shown to the family, highlighting the emotional impact of the cash donation.
