Bishop Kukah Delivers 24th Chief S.L Edu Memorial Lecture on Faith and Environmental Care

Bishop Kukah recently delivered the 24th Chief S.L Edu Memorial Lecture, focusing on the theme of faith and care for the environment. The event, organized by the Nigerian Conservation Foundation (NCF) in Lagos, aimed to address pressing environmental issues in Nigeria and beyond.

Dr. Joseph Onoja, the Director-General of NCF, emphasized the importance of the annual lecture in the face of environmental crises and leadership deficits in Africa.

The lecture highlighted the moral responsibility of stewardship and sustainable development, encouraging a shift towards ethical practices. Additionally, the event included the announcement of research grants for two Ph.D. candidates from Nigerian universities focusing on environmental science and sustainability.
