Boko Haram Kills Three Soldiers in Adamawa Attack

On Saturday, around 11:00 AM, Boko Haram insurgents launched an attack on a community in Adamawa, specifically in the Garaha District of the Hong Local Government Area. The assault resulted in the deaths of three military personnel and a civilian woman, who was tragically hit by a stray bullet while attempting to flee the violence.

Eyewitness Reverend Isaiah Yeriman recounted that the insurgents caught military personnel off guard, despite prior alerts. The attackers overwhelmed the military camp, leading to the destruction of structures, including a primary school, and the looting of weapons and an armored vehicle.

Reverend Yeriman praised the bravery of the soldiers, who lost everything, including food and personal belongings, during the ambush. An anonymous eyewitness suggested there may have been internal betrayal, as the military initially repelled the attack vigorously until the insurgents coordinated an ambush from the rear, turning the tide of the confrontation.
