Borno State to Begin Exporting Plastic Products, Governor Zulum Announces Economic Revitalization

Governor Zulum of Borno State has revealed plans to export plastic products as part of efforts to boost the state's economy and reduce reliance on federal funding. The initiative aims to promote self-sufficiency and industrialization, creating hundreds of direct jobs and enhancing economic viability.

The state government will transition the plastic factory to a public-private partnership model for sustainable commercial success. The products are already being shipped to neighboring countries like Chad and Cameroon.

Former Governor Shettima's administration initiated the factory's construction as part of the state's recovery and development plan.
