Zulum Coordinates Security in Pulka After Recent Attack

On a Saturday night, Borno State Governor Babagana Umara Zulum spent time coordinating security activities in Pulka, a community located 22 kilometers from Gwoza. This visit followed a recent attack in the Ngosh Pulka community.

It was the first instance of Governor Zulum sleeping in Pulka, emphasizing his commitment to addressing security concerns directly. During his visit, he held a security meeting with the brigade commander, military officers, and personnel from the Civilian Joint Task Force (JTF) to discuss the security situation in the area.

Governor Zulum highlighted that his administration's hallmark is to sacrifice comfort for the welfare of the people, stating that he cannot recall living consecutively in the office for ten days, even during the week. He also distributed cash and food items to 30,000 affected households in the Ngosh Pulka community, demonstrating his administration's commitment to community support and development.
