Bournemouth defender Zabarnyi joins PSG for £57m

Bournemouth defender Illia Zabarnyi has completed a £57 million transfer to Paris Saint-Germain, signing a deal worth 66 million euros. The Ukrainian player, who joined Bournemouth in January 2023 from Dynamo Kyiv, expressed his excitement about joining PSG, calling it the "best club in the world" with the "best project." Zabarnyi made 86 appearances for Dynamo Kyiv and played a crucial role in defense, earning the title of Supporters' Player of the Season.

This transfer marks the third major sale of a defender for Bournemouth in the current transfer window. PSG paid an initial fee for Zabarnyi, who will now be part of the European champions' squad.
