LBHF Boxing Tournament Showcases Future Champions

The LBHF monthly boxing tournament held at Agege Stadium in Lagos featured outstanding performances from several boxers. Juwon Fatad headlined the event with a commanding 5-0 victory over Mustapha Yusuf in the men's 50kg category.

Juliu Bossinu followed suit, also winning 5-0 against Innoc Prosper in the men's 60kg bout. Opeyemi Lawal secured a dominant 5-0 victory against Wahab Ramadan in the men's 70kg contest.

Other notable matches included Tajudeen Rashe edging out Aliazeem Ogunley 3-2 in the men's 60kg category and Idri Ibadiaran narrowly defeating Makind Moham 3-2 in the men's 75kg. In the female category, Amirat Oluwatoyin displayed resilience to claim a 3-2 win over Raheemo Animashaun in the 48kg category.

The tournament, which has grown since its inception in 2010, serves as a crucial platform for young boxers to train and gain exposure, with the next phase of the competition anticipated to bring together champions from across Lagos.
