Opeyemi and Fridai Shine at LBHF Boxing Series in Lagos

The LBHF Boxing Series showcased impressive performances from boxers Ibrahim Opeyemi and Kingslei Fridai at Agege Stadium, Lagos. Opeyemi secured victory in the men's 60kg category by decisively outpunching Ajisola Habeeb, leading to a referee stoppage.

Fridai followed suit in the men's 75kg category, overwhelming Lekan Kolawole and bringing an early end to their contest. Opeyemi expressed gratitude for his success, crediting his hard work, the support of his coach Segun Bodi, fans, and the Lagos State Boxing Association.

The event featured eight competitive bouts and two exhibition matches, highlighting emerging talents in various weight categories. Notable results included Nura Sulaimon defeating Mariam Tijani in the women's 48kg category and Oyindamola Agboola overcoming Sofiat Yakub in the 51kg category.

The LBHF, directed by David Moham, is recognized as Nigeria's longest-running amateur boxing series, providing a platform for aspiring boxers.
