PFL Africa Event Set for June 13 in Lagos, Nigeria

The Professional Fighter League (PFL) event held in Pretoria, South Africa, showcased Nigerian fighter David Samuel, who secured a victory by submission in the first round against Abdelrahman Mohammad in a welterweight bout. Juliet Ukah also triumphed, defeating compatriot Jane Osigw via split decision in a Nigerian clash.

Additionally, Kunl Lawal faced a setback, losing to Guinea Bissau's Rivaldo Pereira in the opening round. The event featured a bantamweight main event where South Africa's Nkosi Ndebel defeated Michel Clement by unanimous decision.

Following this successful event, the PFL announced that its next African event will take place in Nigeria on June 13, marking the first time the PFL will headline at the Eko Arena in Lagos. The card will feature Nigerian rising star and reigning 2025 PFL Africa featherweight champion Wasi Adeshina, who will compete in front of a home crowd, alongside a lightweight co-main event showcasing Nigerian standout Patrick Ochem against Cameroonian contender Octav Ayinda.
